Well the Wii was successful. And it was mostly due to the Wii mote and having a new way to play. The Wii U, as cool and unique as it was, obviously wasn't successful, compared to the Wii.
I just think the main issue is a good amount of quality 1st and 3rd party games. That's what they need at all cost. No matter how interesting it is, if they can't do that, it's pointless.
Wishful thinking. I really don't play CoD anymore, but I would definitely play this one.
Could be the new versions. Why would people buy the old hardware when new ones are coming soon. And the whole thing with the xbox 360, obviously it's time to send that console out to pasture.
How are fans being stabbed in the back? Past, present and future games will be compatible from what I heard across the consoles. Whether you are on the Xbox one or Scorpio, you won't be left behind. That's the message they are going for.
Heck no. This is the main issue I have with going digital only. $40 or $45 is the sweet spot for me. Until then, I'll go after digital titles when they drop in price.
Every year, something gets overhauled. Yet it always feels the same. That's bad considering I buy Madden every 3 to 4 years.
Haha yeah. They'll test the interest by letting the info slip out to the world. If it's positive, they'll come out and reveal the upgraded system. If people hate it, it was made up and a 100% rumor.
Nope, just giving the consumer options. Want a simple box for quick play-ability, drop $300. Want an upgraded box with better graphics and smooth game-play, go for the more expensive unit.
As long as they don't segregate the user base. I think it's great.
Yeah I think it's tuned nicely. But I don't know if you ran by those skeleton ninjas (what I call them) by that big turret. Forgot what it's called... By the giant worm deep underground. Anyways, those guys are so cheap. I had issues with those.
There is already an easy mode. It's called co-op. I usually beat the games by myself the first time. Only after that, is when I use summoning.
Give me Wipeout. Playing zone in vr would me something else. And when I say Wipeout, I mean Sony's.
Ahh, Midtown Madness 3. I would love to play that again. So underrated as a multi-player game. The tag mode was so fun. I'll buy a remaster of that in a heartbeat.
It's selling like crap? I just thought it was being outsold? Two different things.
Fighter
@Hoffmann
You've only seen it by Microsoft before? Really? Sony and Street Fight say hello.
But getting to the point, all console manufacturer's do it. Seems like Nintendo is joining in the fun more now.
What do you mean desperate? Are you going to tell me if you had a new platform, you wouldn't want a would-be AAA title all to yourself?
@Golby
You do realize he's not a young buck right? Triple A titles take a few years to make. So obviously a long development period is not too exciting.
I'm all about a title having a nice long development cycle but be careful what you wish for.
@ TheCommentator Everything you said is sad but soooo true. I believe the Xbox One offers a broader library of good exclusives. Sure, the PS4 will have its heavy hitters (BloodBorne I'm talking about you, and the Uncharted series, just to name a few).
But Sony fanboys are absolutely the worst. They believe all Xbox One features and games are crap. It's sad. I honestly believe they need help. And I don't think they're all that sick. Just the majority are.
You have a valid point there about Microsoft taking so long to improve their dash.
With that being said, while I have no issues with the PS4's dash, I find it incredibly boring and just plain blah!
I didn't think the PS3's dashboard was special, but it was less cluttered than the PS4's.
Suspicious of what? Making more money? Interesting concept.
